Foxglove for Mother's Day

On the door to my art room I have a beautiful Jemima Puddleduck plaque, and the foxgloves in the background caught my eye whilst thinking about card designs. After a Google, I couldn't find any foxglove designs I liked enough to transform into a card, so I snapped a photo of my plaque, and Photoshopped it into a basic outline. I was then able to use this to create a template for all my paper shapes. It was still horribly fiddly cutting such small pieces of paper, but I think it was a success :)

A Fairy for Spring

I made this card for my two beautiful nieces who haven't been very well lately. The fairy design came from a book I had when I was younger, of stained glass style fairies to colour in... The shapes were pretty but simple enough to easily turn into a beautiful card, with layers of depth and colour :)

Ahoy me hearties!

A pirate card for my 5 year old nephew. Although, I nearly ended up framing it and putting it on our bedroom wall I love it so much! The pirate design is based on an image from a Crayola sticker set I had as a child. Nowadays with Google, one can find any simple line drawing and transform it into a 3D work of paper art!
